Republic Parking System began Management of the Parking and Shuttle operation at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in 2005. In addition to managing the Anchorage Airport we also manage the Juneau and Fairbanks airports for the State of Alaska. In Anchorage, we accomplished many things over our tenure that provided the Airport with substantial operating savings as well as enhanced revenue growth.

We renegotiated a more favorable union agreement, purchased and installed a new revenue control system (including Pay-On-Foot and TICO technologies), helped transition the Shuttle operation to in-house, purchased new shuttle vehicles, introduced a customer loyalty/miles reward program (Thanks Again) that was expanded throughout the entire Airport, and assisted in the development and creation of an off-site economy lot for the Airport, just to name a few.

We consistently brought new ideas and innovations to the Airport and helped them implement the ones that they selected. Our performance in Anchorage prompted John Parrott, Airport Manager, to comment, “Republic Parking is a great organization from top to bottom. I don’t know what I could ask that they haven’t been willing to do and do quickly.”
